The challenge involves manuevering a mounted course of 12-14 obstacles (such as water, tarps, bridges, dragging objects, steps, back-throughs, gates and other obstacles).
 
Horses and riders will be scored on how well they navigate each one. Course will be posted online to our website and Facebook five days prior to the event.

Clinic & Challenge Reservation Form and Rules:

  • Challenge includes $1000 in cash and awards for 1st-4th places, 60% payback
  • All payments are non-refundable. Event will be held outdoors, rain or shine.
  • Forms must be postmarked prior to August 10th. Late entries will be accepted with $10 late fee.
  • Competition is open to all breeds/disciplines and skill levels. Ranch Trail – AQHA rules will apply.
  • Obstacle performance results are determined by a judge; each obstacle and rider is judged according to AQHA ranch trail class rules. Judge: Amber Clark
  • Obstacle Course is timed, but only to determine placings in the event of an overall score tie.
  • Helmets are required to be worn by riders ages 18 & under at all times while mounted on grounds.
  • Participants must provide proof of a negative Coggins test for all horses upon arrival or may be mailed with entry.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase on-site.
